BCBR Ride Guide Episode Is On the Air!

For those of you in the Outdoor Life Network viewing areas, mark your calendars! The BC Bike Race 2008 Ride Guide feature episode is airing on OLN on Sunday May 3rd at 1230PM EDT / 930AM PDT. (Check your local listings to confirm date/time.)

You've seen the feature video on our website, but there's nothing quite like cozying up to your tv with a cold beverage to watch the BC Bike Race excitement along with millions of other ride-happy viewers!

BCBR - Big Mountain Spring Training Camp '09

Big Mountain Bike Adventures teamed up with BC Bike Race's own Andreas Hestler, one of North America's most celebrated xc mountain bikers, for a late-March spring training camp.

The camp was held in one of North America's mountain bike Meccas near Las Vegas, Nevada. Just beyond the strip lies an arid region with varied trails, spectacular scenery and world class riding. Riders visited Bootleg Canyon, Blue Diamond, Hurricane, Thunder Mountain and Zion National Park. "Some of the trails in this area are like Moab on steroids," said Hestler. "Slick rock that winds and undulates with plenty of cornering and singletrack to practice skills and fitness."

BC Bike Race is a proud sponsor of the North Shore Bikefest coming to North Vancouver May 22-24!

James Wilson, our own BC Bike Race Bike Tech Support Manager, has been instrumental in bringing this fantastic festival to life in partnership with other local passionate mountain bike advocates. Core events include a Marathon XC Race and a BC Cup Downhill Race!
