Food

Feast on local delights daily!

We know how important good food and proper nutrition in bountiful quantities are during an epic race...and you will not be disappointed in the meals offered during BC Bike Race! We will be using caterers, bakeries, and other resources that are local to each stage of the race in order to provide the best food experience available. By using local resources, we'll be showcasing local fare and providing a wonderful variety of foods to tantalize your taste buds every stage of the way.

Meal Seating

The meals will be served in a common area located near Base Camp, so you can continue to bond with your fellow racers as you break bread together. We promise lots of variety, large servings and nutritionally appropriate dishes at each meal. Most importantly, you'll experience fast and efficient service so that you're not gulping down your breakfast en route to the start line.

Dinners and breakfasts are either all together, two separate seatings, or rolling. This is venue and schedule dependent, so each day of the race has its own personality. When all together, we all eat together. When two separate seatings, you will be informed about which one you’re in. And when it’s rolling, you can eat when you cross the finish line (or any one time you like from the time it opens to the time it closes). The schedule and type of meal formats for each day will be sent to registered racers in advance.

For those who finish early or mid-day and want to fuel up with a lunch, we will have food vendors on hand to sell you something to tide you over until dinner.

Top-Notch Catering

Your first meal included in your Entry Fee is dinner on Day 1.

Dinners and breakfasts from the start to finish will be provided by local caterers who know how to please hungry racers. For a something completely different, the morning of Day 4 will be an early rise, but you will enjoy a special BC Ferries breakfast as you sail across the Strait of Georgia.

We want you to feel that you had good quality, great variety and as much volume of the ingredients you need to fuel yourself through this epic challenge.
