Over the last few years, BC Bike Race has developed a one-of-a-kind medical program to effectively manage the challenges of an epic race in our Coastal Mountain terrain. Made up of paramedics, nurses, and doctors, our highly trained and professional Medical Team members are ready to respond to any incidents on or off the course.

The key to our program is an extensive communications plan which is strategically thought out with regards to the diverse terrain covered during each stage of the race.
To extend our communication net out to every corner of the course, our Course Control Team act as our eyes and ears. Our well-oiled Moto Team of former professional mountain bikers and adventure athletes are there to look out for you every step of the way.
Back at Base Camp, our team is ready to take care of your aches, pains, and minor injuries to get you back out on course tomorrow. On top of care for wounds, dehydration, and soft tissue injuries, there will be a variety of services offered on a pay-for-service basis. These include Chiropractic Care, taping, blister treatment, and chronic pain issues. If you want some tips on pain-free cycling through Chiropractic Care, check out this site. On top of this, you can also see the team at Catalyst Sport Massage to ease your aching body. Note that in some cases, a trip to a local hospital may be necessary. If this is the case, you will be responsible for all costs associated with your visit, so know what your insurance will cover.
