Support Teams

While BC Bike Race will take care of you on and off course during Race Week, you're still welcome to bring along your family and friends as your Moral Support Team. While you're out riding, they can explore our Host Communities, check out the local trails, or even volunteer with us!

Transportation - Support Teams will need a vehicle to move between Base Camps each day and will need to organize their own transportation with BC Ferries. As we get closer to Race Week, please check back for a list of recommended sailing times along with driving directions.

Parking - Each Support Team vehicle will need a Parking Pass to access our Base Camp, please register your vehicle here. They may camp in their parking spots overnight, but since these spots are often just parking lots, tents may not be ideal for teams without RVs. In this case, we recommend looking at our hotel options. Camping options can be found here.

Eating - If your Support Team wishes to eat with you each day, we recommend that a Support Team Meal Plan, again available in our Upgrades.

Waivers - Each Support Team Member will need to sign a BC Bike Race Waiver to be at our Base Camps or to eat with us.

Exploring - BC Bike Race rolls through some incredibly beautiful areas in southwestern BC.  For more info on the sites, sounds, and tastes your Support Crew won't want to miss, email our Support Team Coordinator for activities in each town - support@bcbikerace.com. We'll also have more details posted on our site as we get closer to Race Week.
