Terms and Conditions

Please ensure that you read and understand all of the following Terms and Conditions before registering for one of the BC Bike Ride Tours.

Cancellation of Tour

While cancellations are rare, BC Bike Ride reserves the right to cancel a tour if a minimum number of participants is not met. The decision to cancel a tour will be made approximately five (5) weeks before the start of the tour and BC Bike Ride will refund all participants in full. BC Bike Ride is not responsible for any costs outside of the tour itself (ie - non-refundable airline tickets).

Refund Policy

If a participant has registered for a tour and can no longer participate in that tour, the following refund schedule will apply:

• Refunds available until 90 days prior to tour start at 75% of tour fee.
• Refunds available until 60 days prior to tour start at 50% of tour fee.
• No refunds available within 60 days of tour start.

No refunds will be issued for a change of itinerary during a tour. All itineraries are weather dependant and subject to change without notice.

Responsibilities of Tour Participants

All participants must be in good physical shape for these tours. Any participant with medical concerns must notify BC Bike Ride organizers of these concerns before partaking in any activities. Participants must also recognize that the tours take place in a wilderness setting, so medical aid will be limitted and dependant upon local Emergency Services in each location. All evacuation costs are the responsibility of the participant. Comprehensive Medical Insurance is encouraged for all participants on our tours.

Participants must come prepared with the appropriate bike and equipment, with everything in working order, for each tour. If rental equipment is required, please contact us and we will do our best to arrange this for you. Participants must also select tours appropriate to their physical and technical abilities and may be asked to leave a tour if our guides feel it is unsafe for them to continue. Participants must follow ALL directions of guides while out on trail. Failure to do so will result in participants being asked to leave the tour.
