Danielle Hagan lives, works, and plays on Quadra Island, BC. This was her first BC Bike Race and, as you can tell from the video, she loved it. For all you techy types: “Sam Whittingham (Naked Bicycles) actually cut and lengthened my frame to give me a longer wheel base for race week, and simultaneously swapped my fork to a Fox Talus 34 -140mm. It was a 3-year-old hand-me down from my husband, Andreas, because he needed a bigger fork, which I’m still happily on! It was a jump up from my original Talus 32. The new geometry combined with more travel was transformative to my confidence on unknown descents going in to the week!”
