Day 7 Whistler - July 13th
This final day, your victory lap, will be a final challenge to put to the test your accumulation of singletrack knowledge. Save some gas for this day it will challenge and excite, but not without effort.
BCBR 2017 Day 7
This is a permitted race course, not all trails can be ridden 365 days a year. Please respect Land Managers and Ride at Your Own Risk.
“BCBR endeavours to collect the most accurate GPS data for the profiles. However, there are many known discrepancies between today’s GPS units and their own data collection process, compared data may vary.”
A final TEST for Day 7:
A course of ups and downs, flowing through the Whistler valley and touching on some classics: Riverside, Farside and a grind up to the new redone Tunnel Vision, stretch your legs on the next climb and a stint of road before crossing over to the now infamous West Side Trails: into Danimal, Al La Mode - these heading up, before wrapping over the top on the Sproat Flank and heading into Beaver Pond, another new trail A Cut Above and all this before the Grand Finale finish at Rainbow Park on Alta Lake, what a day, tough, but rewarding!
During the winter, Whistler is a world-class ski resort, but in the summer, it turns into a mountain biking Mecca. Come explore the awesome trails with us on your final day of BC Bike Race.
Awards and Finisher Medals will be presented at the Finish Line at Rainbow Park under the watchful eye of both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, followed by our Final Banquet that evening.
Finish Line Highlights
You have been riding six days of amazing trails and what better way to finish up your journey than riding in Whistler!? You’ll be bussed straight to the remote Start Line in Cheakamus Crossing.
At the end of your ride, your family, friends and support will be able to watch you cross the Finish Line of your great journey at Rainbow Park.
